The Swedes
The Swedes are a fantastic Brooklyn-based band that does the whole "indie rock" thing especially well. There's a lot of quality influences in there, such as The Cars, Queen, and other great 70's pop-rock acts, and we think you'll really dig what you hear. We pulled the song "Making Up Words" off of their album, Nothing Says Rich Like Golf Clubs.

Kelly Jane Rasmussen
Kelly Jane Rasmussen is an amazing talent out of NYC that will pretty much rock your world with her fantastic voice and great melodies. We're still unsure as to why she is still unsigned, and you will be too after hearing her song that we used called "Lost at Sea."

The House Floor
The House Floor is a Blacksburg, VA based indie band that pulls a lot of different influences into one unique sound. We've already featured this band in a live review, so if you like what you hear on the G-Cast and you like what you read, then be sure to check them out when they go on the road. The song we pulled is called "Sign My Caste" and it's off their EP ...Have Your Gloves of Gold!

The Electric November
The Electric November is Orange County native Barry Carter's new project. He's helming both the vocal duties and most of the instruments on the track "Ultimatum," which you'll hear shortly if you leave yourself plugged into the G-Cast. There's a lot of Smashing Pumpkins, 3EB, and other good guitar-driven rock-alt in there. The latest word is that Barry's still looking for musicians to be a part of this project. So if you like what you're listening to, just click the link to his myspace below to get some contact info.

Jupiter Sunrise
Jupiter Sunrise is a great band out of West Hollywood, California that pulls influences from all over the place. Although they're usually classified as "folky rock" we like to classify them as "awesome" and "absurdly catchy." The last song on this episode of the G-Cast is called Why'd I Wait So Long? and trust us, you'll be singing this one to yourself long after you quit listening.
